Basketball Recap: Harrisonburg Comes Up Short

Harrisonburg lost against Ouachita Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Harrisonburg Bulldogs were beaten by the Ouachita Christian Eagles 55-10. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Harrisonburg has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Ouachita Christian, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrisonburg won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Caldwell Parish at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ouachita Christian, they will head out on the road to take on West Ouachita at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for West Ouachita: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Ouachita Christian has snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
