While Sunset's win against Southridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Apollos sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Skyhawks on Monday. The win continues a trend for Sunset in their matchups with Southridge: they've now won eight in a row.

The victory got Sunset back to even at 4-4-2. As for Southridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sunset will face off against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jesuit's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Sunset's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Southridge, they will head out on the road to take on Aloha at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southridge will be up against Aloha's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.7 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
