Football Game Preview: Copperas Cove Bulldawgs vs. Bryan Vikings

Copperas Cove is 0-5 against Bryan since November of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldawgs will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Copperas Cove's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Copperas Cove proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 39) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 31-30 win over Killeen. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Bulldawgs were down 30-16 in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, Bryan came up short against George Ranch last Saturday and fell 21-11. The Vikings were right on the edge of victory: they outscored the Longhorns in the fourth quarter 8-0.

Copperas Cove will have to contain Levert Wallace Jr as he made an impact in Bryan's last game. He rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries.

Bryan's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Copperas Cove, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
