Volleyball Recap: Trinity Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Trinity unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Southeast Guilford Falcons on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Trinity was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Southeast Guilford work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24, 25-23.

Southeast Guilford has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Leadership Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southeast Guilford, they will take on Ragsdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
