Baseball Recap: Gladwin Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Gladwin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Standish-Sterling Panthers. This was payback for the Flying G's, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Gladwin's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
