Baseball Recap: Chief Leschi Takes a Loss

Chief Leschi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, falling 16-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-1 on Tuesday.

Chief Leschi's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chief Leschi will host Raymond/South Bend at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they will square off against Adna at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Pe Ell/Willapa Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
