Softball Game Preview: Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints vs. Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles

The Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints will take on the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Mount Juliet Christian Academy and seven for Ezell-Harding Christian.

Monday just wasn't the day for Mount Juliet Christian Academy's offense. They lost 20-0 to Donelson Christian Academy on Monday.

Meanwhile, Ezell-Harding Christian might've scored the first runs on Monday, but it was Clarksville Academy who claimed the real prize. The Eagles fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5.

Ezell-Harding Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillian Spears, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Mount Juliet Christian Academy's record now sits at 1-9. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their record is now 3-14.

Mount Juliet Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 18-1 defeat they got from Ezell-Harding Christian in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
