Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the North Royalton Bears, falling 7-3. While losing is never fun, Roosevelt can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while North Royalton are ranked fifth).

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for North Royalton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will welcome Aurora at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt will need to watch out since Aurora have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for North Royalton, they will be playing at home against Twinsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
