Delano faced Maple Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers fell  2-0 to the Crimson. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their 20-game winning streak.
 Kayla Heinonen paced Delano's offense, picking up five kills. Heinonen got some help from  Alexis Champeau and her 16 assists.
 Maple Grove was led to victory by  Tess Schuler and  Amanda Swiers.  Schuler  had 13  digs, while  Swiers  had 16 assists and three  digs. Those  13  digs gave  Schuler a new career-high.
Delano's loss dropped their record down to 25-2. As for Maple Grove, the  win was  the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3.
 Delano wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  victory against Annandale on the 13th. As for Maple Grove, they will be playing at home against Southwest Christian  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
