Monadnock dropped their record down to 10-2 on Friday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins at home. They fell 6-3 to the Prospect Mountain Timberwolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Ari Drouin was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Cainen Avery made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

As for Prospect Mountain, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games.

On Prospect Mountain's side, Alexis Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Paige Harding and Liv Noyes did most of the damage at the plate: Harding went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Noyes went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Harding has posted since back in April.
