Boynton Beach suffered their biggest defeat since December 13, 2023 on Wednesday. They suffered a tough 72-52 loss at the hands of Inlet Grove. While losing is never fun, Boynton Beach can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 604th, while Inlet Grove is ranked 287th).
Meanwhile, Boca Raton had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 69-26 victory over Seminole Ridge. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Boca Raton has posted yet this season.
Boynton Beach's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-14. As for Boca Raton, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
