Softball Game Preview: J.Z. George Jaguars vs. Humphreys County Cowboys

The J.Z. George Jaguars will take on the Humphreys County Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. J.Z. George has given up an average of 13.1 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when J.Z. George duked it out with Sebastopol on Thursday. J.Z. George might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 20-1 to Sebastopol, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Humphreys County was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They put the hurt on Greenville with a sharp 28-16 win.

The victory got Humphreys County back to even at 1-1. As for J.Z. George, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
