Volleyball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Pacific Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14.

New Haven's offense was headlined by Lydia Payne and Emme Bates, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Hannah Knight and her four assists.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 3-15-2. As for Pacific, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-4-1.

New Haven has already played their next contest (against Hermann), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pacific, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sullivan at 6:15 p.m.
