Softball Recap: Westland Takes a Loss

Westland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Francis DeSales Stallions, falling 21-3.

Brooklyn Barnett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Nahomy Valdes, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Westland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for St. Francis DeSales, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Westland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 27-2 loss against Big Walnut on the 16th. As for St. Francis DeSales, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against Dublin Coffman on the 22nd.
