Softball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to the Southern Indians.

East's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Southern, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East will host Bristol at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Southern, they will welcome Chaney at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
