Basketball Recap: Early Comes Up Short

Early was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Tolar Rattlers, falling 53-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-42 back in January.

Early's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Tolar, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-17.

Early will venture away from home to take on Dublin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dublin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Tolar has already played their next match (against Comanche), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
