Softball Recap: Sleepy Hollow Horsemen vs. Yonkers Bulldogs

Sleepy Hollow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Yonkers Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sleepy Hollow of the 16-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

For Yonkers' part, Erisa Gashi was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Gashi has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 12 consecutive pitching appearances.
