Softball Recap: St. Paul Lutheran Comes Up Short

St. Paul Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tipton Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 15-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

St. Paul Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Tipton, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cardinals beat St. Paul Lutheran by a score of 11-7 later that day.
