Soccer Recap: Christian Family Academy Find Success

Christian Family Academy won the last time they faced Temple Baptist and things went their way on Thursday too. The Fire walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles.

John Gruver and Jude McLaughlin scored all three of Christian Family Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Christian Family Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Temple Baptist, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Christian Family Academy has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 win against Lake Lure Classical Academy on the 19th. As for Temple Baptist, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on October 3.
