Central Fellowship Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Calvary Day Cavaliers by a score of 65-55. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Calvary Day lost, don't look at Destini Gooddine. Despite the final result, she posted 24 points along with eight steals and seven boards. Gooddine's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Bre Jones was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine rebounds and five assists.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Calvary Day, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 90-17 victory against Sherwood Christian Academy on the 3rd. Calvary Day has also already played their next game, a 36-29 win against South Effingham on the 30th.
