Basketball Recap: Na'jae Stevenson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Central over Clovis East

Central lost against Clovis East back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Central Grizzlies took a hard 67-50 fall against the Clovis East Timberwolves.

Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Na'Jae Stevenson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 boards. Another player making a difference was Gerald Perry, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds.

Central's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Clovis East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-6.

Central has already played their next game, a 71-56 win against Clovis on the 24th. As for Clovis East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-53 defeat against Buchanan on the 24th.
