Normal University has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bloomington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pioneers are taking a road trip to face off against the Purple Raiders at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Normal University has 24 straight victories, Bloomington has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Normal University is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Urbana.

Meanwhile, Bloomington didn't have quite enough to beat Lincoln on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Bloomington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-14, 25-16.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 12-22. As for Normal University, their victory bumped their record up to 32-4.

Normal University beat Bloomington 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Pioneers repeat their success, or do the Purple Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
