Preview: Lodi vs. Waldwick/Midland Park
On Saturday Waldwick/Midland Park take on Lodi . It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close contest.
Last Thursday, Waldwick/Midland Park couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Glen Rock. Waldwick/Midland Park were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Lodi had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the squad lost 5-6 to Garfield.
