Softball Recap: Tyngsborough Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Tyngsborough came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Millbury Woolies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

Kiley Hogan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Adrianna Arsenault was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May. Carly Smith was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Tyngsborough pushed their record up to 19-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Millbury, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

As of now, neither Tyngsborough nor the Woolies have any future games scheduled.
