Basketball Recap: Wilson Hall Takes a Loss

Wilson Hall's tournament run continued when they took on Gaffney on Saturday. The Wilson Hall Barons were outmatched by the Gaffney Indians and fell 93-51. The game marked the Barons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gaffney found their leader in sophomore Rickey Littlejohn, who went 10 for 12 on his way to 23 points and six steals. Littlejohn's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Phillips, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Wilson Hall and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Gaffney, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-7.

Wilson Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-50 win against Stall on the 30th. Gaffney has also already played their next game, a 67-64 defeat against Ashley Ridge on the 30th.
