Basketball Recap: Colts Neck's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was fun while it lasted, but Colts Neck's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Friday. They lost 59-37 to the Shore Regional Blue Devils. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

It was another big night for Kimi Sayson, who went 8 for 15 en route to 27 points and five rebounds for Shore Regional. The dominant performance gave Sayson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ava Coyle, who posted 19 points and five boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Colts Neck fell to 5-1. As for Shore Regional, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
