Basketball Recap: Faith Takes a Loss

Faith lost against Harding County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Faith Longhorns took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harding County Ranchers. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harding County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cohen Smith led the charge by putting up 13 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nayati Bickerdyke, who posted 14 points and five rebounds.

Faith's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Harding County, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith has already played their next contest (against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Harding County has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against New England.
