Basketball Game Preview: Greenfield Knights vs. Ravenscroft Ravens

Having just played yesterday, the Greenfield Knights will jump right back in to play the Ravenscroft Ravens at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Greenfield is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: St. Anne's-Belfield, who was ranked 14th in their home state at the time (Greenfield was ranked 22nd). Greenfield had to suffer through a 76-44 loss at the hands of St. Anne's-Belfield. The Knights have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, Ravenscroft lost to Broughton on the road by a 57-43 margin on Thursday.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Ravenscroft, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Greenfield beat Ravenscroft 77-65 in their previous matchup back in November. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
