Volleyball Recap: Webster Groves Takes a Loss

Webster Groves lost against Parkway Central back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Statesmen took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts. The Statesmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-19, 23-25, 25-14, 25-20.

Riley Fogarty had a dynamite game For Parkway Central., getting 22 digs and eight assists. That's the most digs Fogarty has posted since September 4th.

Webster Groves' loss dropped their record down to 9-13-1. As for Parkway Central, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Webster Groves and Parkway Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Statesmen (ranked 104th) will meet Mehlville (ranked 282nd) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Parkway Central will take on Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (48 vs. 130).
