Soccer Game Preview: Bloomington vs. Fontana

The Bloomington Bruins are taking a road trip to take on the Fontana Steelers at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloomington's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Bloomington's offense. They lost 6-0 to San Gorgonio on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 475th, while the Spartans are ranked 77th).

Meanwhile, Fontana didn't have quite enough to beat Carter on Monday and fell 2-1.

Bloomington now has a losing record at 5-6-3. As for Fontana, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4-1.
