Boothbay comes up short despite Finn Harkins' dominant performance

Recap: Boothbay Seahawks vs. Winthrop Ramblers
The Boothbay Seahawks were the 54-45 winner over the Winthrop Ramblers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Boothbay took a hard 51-36 fall against Winthrop on Friday. Boothbay's loss keeps them winless this season.
Despite the loss, Boothbay still got an impressive performance from Finn Harkins, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Luke Morley was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Boothbay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Winthrop, their win was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boothbay will take on St. Dominic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winthrop, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Yarmouth Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
