Basketball Recap: Abingdon Comes Up Short

Abingdon lost against Ridgeview last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Abingdon Falcons might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 54-47 to the Ridgeview Wolfpack, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abingdon's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Ridgeview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Abingdon will be playing in front of their home fans against Gate City at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgeview, they will venture away from home to square off against East Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in East Ridge's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Ridgeview has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
