West Point gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Colonial Beach Drifters 46-6. The win continues a trend for the Pointers in their matchups with the Drifters: they've now won six in a row.

Keleal Carter had a dynamite game, picking up 104 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 61 yards. Chris Delaney was in the mix as well, providing West Point with two TDs.

Looking ahead, West Point is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colonial Beach, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
