Windham came tearing into Wednesday's match with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Plainfield Panthers 82-36. Given the Whippets' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Panthers are ranked 98th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
