The Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Avant Garde Academy on Thursday as Don Soffer Aventura made off with a 48-22 victory. That 48-22 margin sets a new team best for Don Soffer Aventura this season.

Liana Kozko continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 34 points and 15 rebounds. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Brenda Klucznik was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Don Soffer Aventura's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-4. As for Avant Garde Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Don Soffer Aventura will face off against Mater Academy Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
