Baseball Recap: Ranchview Comes Up Short

Ranchview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They came up short against the Krum Bobcats, falling 15-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-2 loss back in March.

Jack Samford was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was his first of the season.

Ranchview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Krum, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ranchview will take on Lake Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Krum, they will face off against Kennedale at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
