Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, Pa.) on Saturday.
Berks Catholic scored on a touchdown run by
Todd Reedy, a
Patrick Causa touchdown pass to
Chris Warren and a Reedy touchdown run in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Warren in the first quarter, BC led 28-0 at the half.
The Reading school expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. The Saints' lone score in the quarter came on a
Cooper Kutz touchdown run.
The defeat comes as a step back for Chestnut Ridge, who notched a 23-13 victory over Carrick in its previous outing. With the win Berks Catholic extended its winning streak to three games.
Chestnut Ridge (1-2) goes up against Bald Eagle Area in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Berks Catholic (3-0) locks horns with Columbia also in a non-conference game.
