Softball Recap: Loara Comes Up Short

If Loara was feeling good fresh off their 22-2 takedown of Estancia on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saxons came up short against the Katella Knights on Monday, falling 16-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saxons of the 8-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2020.

Loara now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Katella, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loara will venture away from home to square off against Orange at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Katella, they will head out to take on Laguna Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
