After a string of three wins, Gregory-Portland's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.
