Westlake added to the longest winning streak in Marmonte - East this week by beating Oaks Christian, 39-36. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

Westlake was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating the Lions. Jim Benkert's team came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 39 last week.

The Warriors' dynamic duo of Malik Henry and Nick Rodriguez proved tough for Oaks Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Henry threw for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns and Rodriguez had 107 yards receiving. Andre Baccellia helped Westlake's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 56 yards.

He was 15-40 with 0 interceptions.

Davis Pinkston provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Simi Valley defeated Calabasas. He completed 19 passes for 207 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 137 yards. Pinkston's favorite target this week was Drew Moore, who caught 6 passes for 100 yards.

6-foot-1 quarterback Pinkston of the Pioneers is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,211. He has also thrown 18 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Baccellia. The Westlake star has 42 catches for 914 yards.

Baccellia of the Westlake's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 86 receiving yards in this week's game against Servite to get there. He has recorded 42 catches for 914 yards this year.

Royal fell to Thousand Oaks 56-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
