 Tidewater Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  take on the Kenston Forest Kavaliers at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Last Thursday, Tidewater Academy came up short against Portsmouth Christian  and fell  12-9.
  Morgan Goodrich and  Layla Weaver did some serious damage despite the final result:  Goodrich  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Weaver  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.  Piper Weber was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  match, but Kenston Forest had to settle for  a  6-4 loss against Nottoway on Monday. Kenston Forest has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Aubrey Mayton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Palyn Marker was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Tidewater Academy's record is now 1-5. As for Kenston Forest, their record is now 7-5.
 Tidewater Academy might still be hurting after the  22-0 defeat they got from Kenston Forest  in their previous meeting  back in March.
