Reading Memorial won the last time they faced Wilmington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rockets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Reading Memorial walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Charlie Ballestas paced Reading Memorial's offense, picking up six kills. Ballestas got some help from Gianna Miceli and her 11 assists.

Reading Memorial's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Wilmington, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Looking ahead, Reading Memorial will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lexington at 5:45 p.m. As for Wilmington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Waltham on the 17th.
