Recap: Saint Francis Lancers vs. Bellarmine College Prep Bells
The Saint Francis Lancers entered their tilt with the Bellarmine College Prep Bells with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Saint Francis strolled past Bellarmine College Prep with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-10. Given Saint Francis' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Bellarmine College Prep is ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Saint Francis' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Knapp, who threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes. Saint Francis also got help from Perrion Williams who showed off his sure hands for 169 receiving yards.
Saint Francis is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Bellarmine College Prep, they have yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 2-8 record.
Saint Francis will take on Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bellarmine College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
