Baseball Recap: Pendleton Takes a Loss

If Pendleton was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Manitou Springs on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Buckaroos fell just short of the Riverdale Ridge Ravens by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Riverdale Ridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Pendleton will take on Pine Creek in a tournament on Tuesday. The Buckaroos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 11.6 runs per game this season. As for Riverdale Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Basha at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
