Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lourdes Knights, falling 65-37. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 69-29 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lourdes, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will take on Horicon in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lourdes and Markesan will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
