Calabasas had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Newbury Park Panthers on Friday. This was payback for the Coyotes, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Calabasas' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-7. As for Newbury Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's still a better percentage than their 4-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calabasas is set to face off against their familiar foe Oaks Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Newbury Park will take on rival Westlake at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
