It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Athens had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Spring Hill Panthers as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering Athens have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Spring Hill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anna Stovall (2), Camila Martinez, and Donna Carpenter.

The win was the third in a row for Athens, bringing their record up to 14-6. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three contests. As for Spring Hill, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-6.

Athens wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Aubrey on the 28th. Spring Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
