Soccer Game Preview: Waupun vs. Kewaskum

Waupun is 1-7 against Kewaskum since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 4:45 p.m.

Waupun came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Catholic Memorial, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Waupun can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Catholic Memorial are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Kewaskum was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Winnebago Lutheran Academy, sneaking past 2-1. Kewaskum haven't had any issues with Winnebago Lutheran Academy recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Annika Krueser and Caitlin Finger scored both of Kewaskum's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Waupun now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Kewaskum, their win bumped their record up to 2-6-2.
