Basketball Recap: Dodson Takes a Loss

Dodson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 64-50 bruising from the Downsville Demons. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Demons earlier this season, when they won 51-38.

Dodson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Downsville, their win ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-15.

Dodson will venture away from home to challenge Claiborne Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Downsville will take on West Ouachita in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Downsville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
