Volleyball Recap: Yates Center Takes a Loss

Yates Center lost against Jayhawk Linn back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Jayhawks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14.

Cayten Cummings paced Yates Center's offense, picking up six kills. Cummings got some help from Madison Hall and her four assists. Cummings also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Makenzi Morrison, each putting up two.

Yates Center's defeat dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Jayhawk Linn, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season.

Yates Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jayhawk Linn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Uniontown on the 14th.
